Stand design and assembly for Automechanika Frankfurt 2026: Cota Creativa and Cojali

Automechanika Frankfurt 2026 once again placed Frankfurt at the heart of the international automotive and aftermarket industry from September 8 to 12.

The event brought together more than 112,000 trade visitors from 173 countries and around 4,400 exhibitors from 80 countries, turning Messe Frankfurt into a major international showcase for technology, components, services, and new solutions linked to the future of the automobile.

Automechanika Frankfurt, international meeting point for the aftermarket

Automechanika is one of the major international B2B trade fairs in the automotive sector. In 2026, topics such as artificial intelligence, software-defined vehicles, connectivity, assistance systems, digitalization, and new forms of propulsion took center stage.

For exhibiting companies, participating in a trade fair of this nature means competing for the attention of a highly professional, international audience. For this reason, the design of custom stands serves a purpose that goes far beyond simply creating a visually appealing space.

The stand must identify the brand, showcase the product, facilitate demonstrations, create spaces for business interactions, and serve as a genuine meeting point for clients and partners over the course of several days.

A new project for Cojali at Automechanika 2026

Cota Creativa returned to Frankfurt with Cojali, a regular client with whom we have developed different fair projects and whose presence has evolved edition after edition.

Cojali is a Spanish multinational specializing in components, electronics, and technological solutions for commercial vehicles, with operations in areas such as advanced diagnostics, connectivity, remote diagnostics, and the digitalization of workshops and fleets.

For Automechanika Frankfurt 2026, the company occupied stand E80 in Hall 3.0—an 18 x 10-meter, 180 m² space open on three sides.

A 180 m² stand with a high-tech, futuristic aesthetic.

The project developed by Cota Creativa was based on a clear premise: to translate Cojali’s technological and industrial character into the physical space.

The result was a stand featuring bold architecture, striking geometries, and a significant presence of light and audiovisual elements.

A large overhead structure measuring 15 by 8 meters, suspended at a height of 6 meters, ensured long-range visibility and incorporated the Cojali and Jaltest branding. Beneath it, the various areas for demonstrations, exhibitions, meetings, and sales consultations were arranged.

Audiovisual elements as part of the stand’s architecture

One of the project’s key elements was the integration of a circular LED screen—measuring approximately 39.5 m² with a diameter of 2.60 meters and a height of 5 meters—around the central pillar, in addition to a main 15 m² (5 x 3 meter) LED wall.

The space also incorporated a 4.5 m² LED curtain, four 43-inch touchscreens, and various audiovisual displays distributed throughout the stand.

This combination allowed the digital content not merely to appear placed on the walls, but to be fully integrated into the architectural concept itself.

Technology to present technology

The proposal made particular sense given the content Cojali was bringing to Frankfurt.

The company showcased its ecosystem of solutions for commercial vehicles, featuring areas dedicated to Cojali Parts, Jaltest Tools, technical training, and workshop digitalization. A key highlight was Jaltest AI: Next Wave Workshops—presented in person for the first time at Automechanika Frankfurt—which leverages artificial intelligence, voice interaction, and augmented reality applied to diagnostics.

The environment therefore had to be worthy of the product: contemporary, high-tech, and set up for demonstrations and business conversations.

Commercial, social, and hospitality spaces

A stand of these dimensions must also function effectively from an operational standpoint.

The layout incorporated various meeting areas, a reception, product displays, interactive screens, a sales area, a private office, storage space, and a spacious social area with a bar.

During the final stages of the project, a melamine-faced slatted finish with an oak look was incorporated into the bar and merchandising areas, alongside pendant lights and an 86-inch screen. These elements made it possible to introduce warmer materials without losing the overall industrial and technological character.

Booth design that evolves with the brand

One of the most interesting aspects of working continuously with a brand is being able to evolve its trade show presence.

With Cojali, each new edition makes it possible to maintain certain recognizable elements while simultaneously incorporating new architectural, audiovisual, and functional solutions.

Automechanika Frankfurt 2026 marks a new step in this evolution: a space with high visual impact, yet one also designed around the real needs of exhibitors and the visitor experience.

At Cota Creativa, we develop stand design and installation projects for national and international trade fairs, coordinating design, production, logistics, assembly, and technical services to ensure each space reflects both the brand identity and its commercial objectives.
