Between 17 and 20 September this month, Valencia Hábitat’19 will take place, a true showcase of the Spanish furniture, lighting and decoration sector.
It will simultaneously host the 55th International Furniture Fair, the 52nd International Lighting Fair, and the 17th edition of NUDE, the Young Designers’ Exhibition.

The event has achieved a 41% increase in exhibition space and a 21% rise in the number of participating brands compared to last year. In addition, 1,855 high-net-worth guests from 60 countries have confirmed their attendance.
Furthermore, the event will attract professionals from the fields of architecture and interior design, who will be able to exchange experiences and perspectives with retailers, distributors, buying groups and sales agents.

Visitors, whose number is expected to increase significantly compared to the just over 26,000 attendees of the previous edition, will be able to explore the latest innovations in contemporary, classic, upholstered and avant-garde furniture, as well as in high-end decoration, lighting, relaxation products, installation equipment, gifts and accessories.

On the other hand, visitors will be able to enjoy a packed programme of activities — structured around four main pillars: design, contract, interior design and trends — as well as attend the insightful conferences offered by this major event.
These talks will analyse the main challenges in the fields of interior design in general, architecture and contract, that is, the area covering decoration and interior design applied to commercial or professional spaces (offices, retail stores, restaurants, cafés, hotels, banks, etc.).
In this edition of the fair, speakers will focus on the challenges of the digital era, the new uses of interior design through customer experience (individualised experience), and the relationship between contract and institutional spaces.

It is worth mentioning the series of recognitions that Hábitat launched in its previous edition for professionals with special relevance in the sector, and which this year will continue with the Valencian architect and industrial designer Ramón Esteve, who will be the protagonist of the central retrospective space.
This will be transformed into an installation designed by him, showcasing a wide selection of highly relevant furniture pieces created for various brands, both national and international.
